Conservation Design and Native Landscaping Award 2007
Cowhey Gudmundson Leder, Ltd. is proud to be a lead member of the design team for two Kimball Hill Homes projects that recently won awards for conservation design. The projects, Settler''s Ridge in Aurora and Ingham Park in Sugar Grove, were recognized for Conservation Design and Native Landscaping Awards for 2007 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the 220 member Chicago Wilderness Consortium. The awards were presented at a reception at the Chicago Botanic Garden.
ACEC-IL 2008 Engineering Excellence Merit Award
Cowhey Gudmundson Leder, Ltd. was presented with the ACEC-IL 2008 Engineering Excellence Merit Award for the site plan development of Top Golf in Wood Dale.
Survey Awards
The Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association (IPLSA) held their 2008 annual conference in February, at which Cowhey Gudmundson Leder, Ltd. was recipient of two awards.
Honor Award for Glen Town Center
CGL was presented this award by the Village of Glenview and Oliver McMillian in special recognition for its extraordinary services associated with the sitework design and civil engineering portions of the overall Glen Town Center project which necessitated a tireless work effort, under extremely difficult deadlines and site requirements to achieve a site design that met the complex set of needs associated with this mixed use urban center.
