Duties include preparing detailed civil engineering design plans, reports and calculations; performing geometric computations, grading design, utility design and analysis, roadway design, and stormwater management analysis; specification and report preparation; quantity estimates; cost opinions; permit applications; processing data using civil design software programs; coordinating efforts between owners, architects / project team members, government agencies, contractors and staff to create cost effective civil engineering plans; and resolving field problems as they occur during construction. Must fully understand computer systems, CADD operations, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Civil Engineering and two year's experience in the position offered or two year's experience in the civil engineering field.
Special Requirements: Two year's experience with preparing civil engineering design plans, preparing utility and grading plans, and performing stormwater management analysis.
